Lapland Lullaby 4 day trip to Lapland

It's difficult to believe, but the day has actually arrived that you depart for Lapland. Packing over and having arrived at the airport, check-in is swiftly completed for your destination deep in the fells of Lapland and our introduction to this land of make believe.

Day 1 in Lapland

Following your arrival you transfer to Salla or Olos and are accommodated in hotel rooms, bungalows or cabins in accordance with your wishes. Already the feeling of this special Christmas land engulfs you as you contemplate finding Santa Claus. Overgarments and boots will be allocated to keep you warm. Welcome evening dinner in restaurant.

Day 2 in Lapland

This surely must be a magical land!! 9am and it's still dark outside, yet the reflection from the snow is such that you can see easily enough. After a fortifying Finnish breakfast it's time to consider the activities for the day. What does your Lapland winter wonderland offer as you search for Santa….?

Husky rides, sometimes even the opportunity of husky mushing. Reindeer rides and of course the inevitable snowmobiling over prepared tracks.  We may even spot Speedy Sam rushing through the woods to finish the last preperations for Christmas Day!  Lunch wil be taken at an outside setting and dinner will be served in your hotel restaurant.

Day 3 in Lapland

Following a hearty breakfast, skidoos, reindeers and huskies will once again be used as your search for Santa continues. Lunch, once again, will be taken at an outside location. Fortunately Father Christmas is known never to disappoint children taking the time and trouble to come to his Lapland homeland to visit and you can therefore be certain of meeting him sometime during the today for that very special encounter. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner in your hotel restaurant.

Day 4 in Lapland

A choice of activities are offered for the morning including downhill skiing (slalom), cross country skiing, ice fishing and other snow based activities. Lunch will be taken in the hotel and an opportunity provided to buy some traditional souvenirs en route before joining your return flight to the United Kingdom.

Igloo Accommodation

Whether you are accommodated in a hotel or cabin, the lure of the Arctic may prevail. Arrangements have made for igloos to be built (subject to satisfactory weather conditions) and invite you to request an overnight stay in one. No additional charge is made.
