Magical Sojourn 5 day trip to Lapland

The chance for a privileged few to come to Lapland in search of Father Christmas, his reindeer and elves. This tour is where dreams can become a reality. Children will encounter magical moments as they seek out Father Christmas. There'll be the chance to go sledging, enojy reindeer and husky rides and trips by motorised snow scooters. One thing is for sure, you will find Santa Claus during your visit, and the elves will ensure a gift for each and every child. As Santa is very busy during December supervising the despatch of toys worldwide by reindeer, you're assured of a true adventure as you search through the wilderness for a special Christmas time encounter in Lapland, home of Father Christmas.

Day 1 in Lapland

You'll fly from your chosen airport to Lapland where upon arrival you will be transferred to Luosto and your accommodation. Watch out for Tricky Dicky the Elf, who knows what tricks may be played. Allow us to bring the magic of Christmas to your heart as you relax and enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 in Lapland

Will today be the day you find Santa? An adventure is planned for today using a combination of skidoos (motorised snow scooters), husky dogs and reindeer. You hope that Donner and Blitzen will give your scouts advice as to Santa's location, but fear not, if you do not find him today there is still plenty of time for your search.

Will you see Snowy Bowy or Speedy Sam who may be able to help us? Listen out for Noisy Nod - will he lead you to Santa? Lunch will be provided at an outside venue. This evening back at Luosto dinner will be provided.

Day 3 in Lapland

Today is a day of total relaxation and to enjoy the facilities of the area. Should you choose, it is possible to undertake cross-country or slalom skiing (payment for any equipment and lift use to be made locally).

Alternatively you may enjoy one of the included services within the tour programme. An ice skating area is available for use, together with children's entertainment, a toboggan championship and the opportunity of escorted walks to the top of Luosto fell for the potentially fine view of the overall area. There will also be series of optional excursions, provided by a local supplier at additional cost.

Lunch and dinner will be provided in a log cabin or hotel restaurant, as advised on your itinerary.

Day 4 in Lapland

Skidoos, reindeers and huskies will once again be used as your search continues. Travelling across prepared tracks in an area known for its peace and tranquillity is a truly exhilarating experience. Lunch once again will be taken at the most appropriate time and setting.

Father Christmas is known never to disappoint children taking the time and trouble to visit him, and if you have not been able to meet him as yet, today will be the day for that very special encounter. Enjoy a farewell dinner in the hotel restaurant recounting the day's pleasures.

Day 5 in Lapland

A choice of activities are offered for your final morning here in Luosto. Join in the mini snow games where you can try your hand at a tug of war competition. Alternatively ice skate to musical accompaniment, or simply enjoy the pleasure of tobogganing or relax and enjoy the resort facilities.

Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be the opportunity to buy souvenirs of Lapland before returning back for your flight to the United Kingdom.

Breakfast and evening meals are taken either in the main log cabin restaurant or at the Hotel Luostotunturi.

Igloo Accommodation

Whether you are accommodated in a hotel or cabin, the lure of the Arctic may prevail. Arrangements have made for igloos to be built (subject to satisfactory weather conditions) and invite you to request an overnight stay in one. No additional charge is made.

Souvenir CD

Throughout your stay, you and your children will have the opportunity to sing along to our own very special song "In search of Santa and his Elves". As a lasting memory you will be provided with one CD per booking form on departure from Lapland.
